With Orlando Health’s core mission being committed to medical education, Evergreen Construction renovated two existing vacant buildings into multiple classrooms for use in training Orlando Health employees on their new computer operating platform. Building 1300 now includes a reception area, café, restrooms, and twenty-six individual classrooms. The partitioning between rooms was accomplished with a modular wall system so that the space can be reconfigured upon completion of company-wide training. The exterior stucco façade was repaired and painted, the storefront refurbished, and the existing roof re-coated. Building 1309 was reconfigured to include five large classrooms, restrooms, a break area, and reception. At the completion of training, the building is slated to be converted to a data center. Finally, three modular buildings were erected over an existing dry, retention area to create an additional three classrooms.
